Dead key fobs

I searched on how to open the fob but I saw using a flathead which would work maybe on my old gen 2. This is so thin. I have the key out and am trying to pry open using the two exposed openings but it feels like ill break it with too much force. Something I am missing?

Just pry harder, it will open up.

Key out and there’s a slot where the key was. Use a wide flat head and twist. Pops right open.
