Nice stable of bikes, the steam roller 360 always stops traffic. I'm partial to the 360 bikes too but its nice to get on something that is easy to handle and maneuver once in awhile. Your rides give you a depth to fit the mood. I'm digging the Cafe movement now, so have to scratch that itch soon.

Hi Matt

Great work. :dude3:
Chap,
Thanks...it was a lot of fun working with the guys making the show. If you saw the last episode...I wasn't really faking being worried handing the keys off to the Bostrom Brothers. They ride hard and the bike was just days old....1000 foot drops...no guard rails and they are doing 50 through the hair pins. Oh yeahh....had my heart pumping

Seeing your Norton reminds me of a trip out west years ago. Friend of mine had just bought a new 850 Commando. Oil seal on points was leaking and we had to clean and reset the points every morning to keep the bike running right. Found a dealer in Colorado who had a seal but said he had no time to put it in. I did it on the side of the road and we finished the trip trouble free. Reminds me of why the Japanese bikes put the Brits out of the bike market - not as pretty but stone cold reliable. That Commando had to be one of the prettiest bikes I have ever seen - black with gold pinstripes and logo. The good old days... sometimes I miss 'em, sometimes not.

Funny, I have been wanting to get a road bike for a couple of years, told the wife I wanted something FAST for the road, she keep saying your going to kill yourself on it. So I said ok, then I'm going to get a Viper instead.... Everybody is happy, happy, happy now!

Joel,
Many have a Love-Hate relationship with their Commandos but once you get them running right, its one awesome ride
Here's as recent one I did. It has the classic Black and Gold colors you mentioned but it has the large Interstate tank so it may look a bit different then the one your friend got

They are actually two different bikes. The trailered one might be the same as what is shown in the 3rd pic, possibly updated with more mods.
