Strasse SM6R in 19x10 front, 20x13 rear on 305/30/19 and 345/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. I'm loving the way they look. Time for a real photoshoot very soon!

Thanks for the comments. I'm really happy how they turned out.

The car has stock springs and lowering caps.

How's the ride now with +1" wheels sizes?

Looks great.
Concern though, ain't 10" wide a little small for 305? 10" are 25.4 cm and the 305 are 5cm wider, seems to me that 12" would be a lot better.

It rides exactly the same as stock. I was concerned traction would be a little less on the 20" rear but these Sport Cup 2s hook much better than the stock P-Zero. I can almost go wide open in first.

I was concerned as well because originally when ordering the wheels, they said 19x10 up front. On a follow up phone call, they said they could do 11" wide up front so I ordered the 305 width instead of the 295 I planned on. The wheels came out of machining and to my surprise, they are 19x10. Fortunately the tire fits PERFECT on the wheel, with just a bit of the bead extending which will protect the wheel in the event it gets too close to something. The sidewalls don't protrude out at all and there is no bulging.

Definitely swapping out to those Sport Cup 2's when the weather gets better. Heard nothing but good things about those tires. Wheels look great!

stock p zeroes are pretty junky, they came from the factory on 2015+ Mustang perf packages and are pretty much universally hated on the forum. Michelins are so much better even if I have to go 285/345 instead of 295/355

If you go 19x10 or 19x11 up front, don't hesitate to get the 305 width. I put the stock 295 width P-Zero up against the Michelin 305 and it was virtually the same width. I wish I would have taken a photo to show the comparison. I also opted for the 30 aspect ratio since I don't like the rubber band look around the wheel. I think it looks perfect.

Yes, the 30 ratio up front is the winning ticket. And, the 30 ratio on the 305 is better than on the 295 (well, because it's a ratio and the larger sidewall associated with the 305 looks better and likely performs better).

Overall, a very clean look and one that I've been considering but I'm a bit concerned about the ground clearance (it increasing too much, and hence finding myself with a 4X4 look).

Did you measure your clearance before and after the swap?

Do you know how much it increased?

Can you get it back by dropping the car some more to compensate without running into rubbing issues?

I did not measure the increase, but I can simply measure the distance from floor to center cap on the old vs. new wheels which would provide that answer. I'll do that tonight. It still looks low and mean on the new setup, though the angle of my photos don't show that very well. I wouldn't want to lower it any further because the rears slightly rub the fender liner over hard bumps.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that the new rear wheels weigh 22lbs, which is 1lb less than the Sidewinder 2 and 6lbs less than the Venoms I originally had.

Im on side winder II wheels, the 18" front is the stickler for tire selection

Im skeptical about the weight of your rear wheels.

Did you weigh them without the tires mounted on the rim? Reason im skeptical is you went 1" larger in diameter (bigger wheel/bigger tire) and the SWII's are the lightest weight wheels. Even Forgeline's racing wheels for the viper are the same weight as SWII, but much stronger.

Any issues with ABS, traction control, or stability control with the +5%,+3% circumference increases over stock?

That would be awesome. The rear looks good, and you know you're at the correct height when you get just a little bit of rubbing on the hardest bumps;) My '06 on Motons was set up that way and it was perfect.

The fronts are my main concern as the stockers have the rubber band issue that we both acknowledged already. And, lowering it too much could put your hood at risk (and contrary to the rear, rubbing in the front would be No Bueno).

Although I want to say that others have done 20" up front (Darius?), lowered, without problems.

I was skeptical too, but that's what they weigh without the tire.

Zero issues other than GPS indicated speed being about +3mph at speedometer indicated 75mph, which is obviously to be expected.

That is extremely light, as my 19x13 mono-block Forgeline VX1 rears weigh 22 pounds. Needless to say, 22#'s for a 20"x13" wheel is fantastic.

Yea, no kidding. Now I'm looking to get two-piece rotors to address the added weight! :(

Thanks OP for sharing this info. Would definitely get 19"s for the rear next time I get new wheels.

I'm not sure. Email robert@strassewheels.com and he should be able to tell you. The color is just brushed aluminum. It's just clear powdercoat over the raw aluminum wheel I believe.

They are IPSCO brand.
