Exotic Car rentals (Vegas)

That's cool. Wonder if its cheaper to do this or rent one from a company like Enterprise? I believe they had Ferrari, etc last time I rented a car.

I'm not sure, I was going to rent a Lamborghini or Ferrari for the day, but almost all have a 100 mile limited or it's $2.95 a mile after that, plus require a $10,000 security hold on a cc, I don't have a cc with that limit on it, I'm a cash guy and only have a small limit on a emergency cc, I think it's a $3000 limit or something.

i think you''d have more fun doing the track experience they have out there, where you can track a few different supercars

granted, you have someone riding along with you, but i think that would be more exciting than driving the speed limit on the road

I rented a Viper from Dream Car Rentals back in 09, and it was about $800 (taxes, insurance, and exchange) for 24 hours. 100 miles included and I think it was about a buck a mile after that.

I think about doing this on most of our vacations. I just can't justify the $$ vs. the milage limitations.

You need to talk to them, before you go!
If I remember they had obnoxious schedules because vegas is such a concentration for rotating tourists.
It was stuff like 1hr here, 2hrs there. Apparently they keep very busy and aren't as accommodating as you might think.
I wanted to get a lambo for like 1/2 a day and spend it with my 12yr son... then catch up with the wife later when done... ended not doing it because it didn't fit in with plans.

A friend of mine just did something like this a month or two ago. Not sure the exact company but I could ask him if you want. He said it was an absolute blast. He drove a 458, Gallardo, and XKR I think.
