How To? Need Front Tweeter Removal Help

Have new JL tweeters with 600 component system. Have the screens off now - how far should I be able to pull the wires out? Are there special connectors? Or just cut wires and hope for the best?? :confused:

Found out that wires actually come out pretty easily. But JL tweeters look too big to fit, so now looking for a better option.

Yep not a lot of room in there.

I ended up cutting the screens to flush fit them on top... still had to hog out some of the dash to make my focal tweeters fit down flush. Figured they were easy enough to replace if I hated it.
