Here are some pictures of the install of Xpel on the rocker panels of our GTS. We removed the rocker panel to more easily apply the Xpel. More pictures to come.

I just had my T/A covered in Xpel. Mirrors, half-hood, bumper cover, rocker panels, door sills, and behind rear wheels. Turned out great. TVP Auto in Raleigh NC did the install for $700. If I ever buy a black car I will get the entire vehicle covered. I seen a black C7 at C&C that TVP covered the entire car with Xpel. Now I'm convinced that a black is not that bad to own. You can't tell the film is on the orange.

$700 for all that is a steel. I had the same done for $1200 and thought what I paid for all the work that was involved was reasonable.

Are the Xpel pre-cut for the Gen V?

I don't know of, we ordered two rolls, my husband took the rocker panels off and made templates and installed them. He is going to do the area behind the rear tires next weekend.

Found this for removing rocker. Looks like pipes are already wrapped with insulation.

I got quoted 1600 without the door sills and behind rear wheels. And that was the low quote.

Since it's an old thread that got bumped I'll post an update. For my 14 TA I paid $1400 to have the work done. That's a $200 increase from my 13 but I remember at the time of install he said he'd be charging more since the work is more involved than he realized.

The other clear bra thread on here has many folks showing burn through problems on the clear bras (at least XPEL) and the potential solution was to use the Roe insulation to reduce the heat, but it looks like there is already factory insulation. Gutterworks and Bitten - any issues with burn through on your installs?

I can vouch for Gutterworks....yes....also XPEL.
