If Ford would make a 2-seater sports car that I could justify taking to the track, I would get rid of the ACR; but they don't. I can't justify tracking a FGT, either gen.

Cobra, all 2010 models (ACR and ACR-X) came with those vented end pieces. They are designed to improve Yaw rates.

In addition, the rear wing is also slightly different, from memory the Gurney cap is different.

The wing iteslf is also different than an 08-09. the wing was designed for better cornering with the downforce applied. It was great to see an improvement for a car that was left with 1 year of production.

Well that would make sense, somewhat of a Ford Guy myself but I look at the Viper as being a glorified Mustang. It is as easy or easier to work on than the new Mustangs however.

The rear lip is a bit different on the 2. on the 10 as it gets to the winglets about 2 inches away it tapers down to nothing. The height along the rest of the lip is also different that the 08/09.

In this photo is my #2viper ever in the reverse ssg ring car! #1 is the reverse silver black ring car. I love the G5 extremes but to me they don’t compare to the G4 ACRs. G4s have gauges, no traction control, better visibility when driving, and look better when seen from offset rear... IMHO. What an amazing collection of G4s!!! I own a silver with black band as that is as close to my number 1 car I could get!

Btw is that the actual back up ring car?

Oil capacity needs to be changed to 11 quarts before someone sees 10 quarts and blows their engine faster than a Gen 5 rolling off the factory floor.

Redline also needs to be changed from 6,250 to 6,400.

That is pretty funny. I know that the 08 was lightest of the 3 years as a govt. mandate added weight to the frame for 09/10 to be up to spec.

My '08 coupe is around 3,400 pounds with the heavy ass 5-spokes, 1 piece iron rotors, and about a 1/4 tank of gas. I'd guess an ACR is probably between 3,350-3,400 depending on how much gas you have in the tank.

Thank you! I absolutely love this car!!! Like I said above my #1 is the reverse of my car (ring car... of course without the red stripe) but I’m happy with what I have! I passed on a couple of 14 TAs to get this car and I’m certainly not sorry! I got the opportunity to drive both the g5 side by side with the G4 and I like the 4 better. The 4 feels more like a race car/ hot rod and the 5 is too refined. Don’t get me wrong both are amazing, but the 5 has too much technology and flashy bits which is not what I was looking for in a viper. Oh by the way look at the lap times from the 10 ACR and all the G5’s up to the 16 ACR! You won’t find too much of a difference for the extra horse power and the x brace! Ohhhh that’ll start some stuff!!! LOL

Turns out this is one I made an offer on with them when I got mine and they got it turned back in by the buyer who snaked it under me. Vin matches not that there are many white tri color ACR's running around. You can take it. If I get another one I am going to go all out and find a ACR convertible.

I need a convertible for sunny days, I have to have the wife grease me down to fit in the ACR with the cage and the belts and as I get older and larger it gets harder each time. :devilish:
