I need to buy a new land yacht.
Anyone else enjoy a large truck based SUV..... for REAL men ?

Ok, what I really meant to say is a truck for "old" men instead of real men.

Of course. Who wouldn't want a dually with twin truck wheels in the back !! But I am looking more for a land yacht. Something more on the lines of a cushy cruiser.

My wife has a Slade and loves it. I bought my son a Jeep GC and liked it so much, I bought myself one as a back up to the M6. The JGC is not huge, however.

The Navigator isn't even all new. It is just a wayyyyyyyyyyy long over due mid-cycle refresh.
Why not a 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8? Or a SVT Raptor?

Agreed. Navigator is becoming old. I just prefer huge SUV's so the Grand Cherokee will not work.
I like huge SUV's....( I am compensating for something that is tiny winey)

New Escalade looks to be a huge improvement on the old one, but styled very boxy on the outside with a beautiful interior. Navigator is a comfy yet last generation refresh. Still a good car from a company that needs some help from new buyers.
I have a Buick Enclave and love it. Has enough space for everything we need with our baby son, is as quiet as a Bentley with seemingly almost as many luxury features, and drives great. Is about as spacious or more spacious as a GMC Yukon.
Also really like the new Cherokee. Drives great and an all around awesome SUV.

I know that it is the same basic frame/layout but I like the refresh.
Any opinions about the V6 turbo vs a V8 ?
The V8 are bullet proof and are good for 200k miles. just wondering if a turbo has the same life span, I do not think so.
