I'm picking up my Viper next week from Nth Moto after a 2nd round of mods. This time Aaron and the gang did a built tranny, an upgraded custom exhaust to make my Viper quiter, and last but not least a direct port nitrous kit. Dyno numbers and video coming soon, here's a quick pic of the art work they call direct port on the stock manifold.

That is sweet looking. I can't wait to hear what HP it makes. What type of transmission did you go with? Does the motec help with the shifts?

We are shooting for the 900-1k whp range, I’ll post results next week.
Tranny will be manual.

Interested in the quiet exhaust and the numbers on the sauce. Direct port looks legit, as I'd expect from Nth.

Direct port is the best way to go for any NOS system. 400whp can be made with the right setup. You are in good hands.

Any thoughts on doing this with a Gen V manifold vs. a Gen 4? I know there have been a couple of Gen V manifold failures due to TT boost. There have been several NOS backfires on Vipers, just wondering if a more beefy/stronger manifold might be a better choice?

That said, Aaron is creates masterpieces. Beautiful setup, looking forward to the video on the dyno. :drive:

Thanks Dan! I plan on running it some 1/2 mile events year, we should get a group together for one.

We discussed that and came to the conclusion that the know TT manifold failures were also ported and since mine would not be ported that we should be fine. Aaron said he tested burst pressure on the Gen V intake and he is comfortable with this set up.

We've blown at least three Gen V intake manifolds that were not ported, but they were all running enough boost for 1800+hp. On our stock motor turbo cars, we haven't had any failures.

As long as there is no nos backfire he should be safe.I did see a G2 grenade the air box from a nos backfire, the sprayers were in the tubes.

Go for the kill shot....1000hp N2O. :D (I'm kidding!)

Enjoy N2O it's as addictive as boost.

thanks for sharing, that makes me feel good about staying with the stock manifold since I won't be close to 1800. I'll be happy to break 900whp, I'm staying conservative with it to so I don't break things.

Love the hidden approach on the direct port system. Are you running a stock bottom end ?

Yeah I'm looking to run anywhere from a 100-200 shot and being able to hide the lines is great. Can't wait to see results.
