Can someone better at Photoshop do me a favor. I am trying to see what the fuel door would look like in satin black, body color and in the wheel color (bronze burst). Anyone able to help?

Easy to do for someone with PS skills and I'm sure someone will conjure up a few pics. In the meantime, I vote for satin black. Easy to find the factory part already in the color, matches other trim on the car, and is the stock color on ACR's, TA's, etc. Bronze Burst, although good on the wheels, may seem out of place on the gas cap.

The ACR black door is available, but at $1510 retail it is much easier to paint although replacing it if you hated it is $1090.

Mark, is that to say there is a $420 difference between the black door and the silver one? Yikes!

Be careful if you paint. The fuel door swings open 100% when released and makes contact with the trim ring/base. It'll chip fast. I modify the hinges on the ones i paint/coat to stop this from happening.

How do you modify them?

Or you could get it wrapped. I would think it's entirely possible.

wrap best option

I wish they would have made the gas cap more prominent on the Gen 5. More like what they had on the Gen2 GTS's. That cap is a conversation piece. Still pretty good on the Gen3 and 4 but the 5 is just a cap. May as well go bodycolor to make it go away visually

I'd plastidip it in whatever color you want to see if you'd like it..if you don't just peel and do a different color.

Then once you decide on a color, I'd get it painted or wrapped.

I concur with the plastic dip.

yeah only problem there is the color of the car and the wheels isn't going to come in Dip. That's why I was hoping for a Photoshop :)

You could get really close.

Obviously there won't be metallic flake in it, but a dark bronze would look good. I have Bronze Burst F14s for track days. They are very dark unless they have direct light.

This is probably a shade too bright.

This is pretty close to what the Bronze Burst looks like without direct light.

Your CF stuff has really come a long way from the first one you posted, very nice. That cap is easily on par or better quality than the hood bezel trim rings I got from Xtreme.

Are you doing these for the general public?

If so, what is required? Send in our current or supply with new one?

Could we opt for either just the trim ring to be Cf or just the door to be Cf? On the door, there is no way to keep the concave Viper script?

I'm not sure I'd want both part done, and I'd like to keep the Viper there... 17 ACR here btw

Thanks
