so I took off those hood vents and painted them. While putting them on I dropped a screw down the stupid hood rail thingy on the underside of the hood. Well I dropped 3 screws in there actually. What is the best way to get them out?

You are so screwed, lol. :D

Working them out with a strong magnet is about your only recourse.

From my old post:

This brings back BAD memories...try this old thread from 2002...noting the basic fear that motivated us was that over time the screw MIGHT erode through the rather thin Viper skin:

Edit:...SORRY, link dead...had great info.

Feel free to call me 317-402-9013

Note, I will shut that number off at 9:00 PM EST.

Use a telescoping magnet inside the panel. Sometimes a combination of using a strong magnet on the outside to get in position and then slip the telescoping magnet inside actually snatch the screw and gently pull it out. I've had five screws in my hood and got them out that way
