I saw one for sale last year but the seller never responded to emails. Looking to upgrade my SRT wheel. Thanks!

I would send yours out to DCTMS. I sent my Gen IV ACR wheel out there, and got it back. Looks like a Gen V ACR-E wheel.

Is the Gen V ACR Steering Wheel suede or alcantara? 13 Cobra do mind saying how much they charged you and what the turn around time was?

I thought about buying a second one for when it inevitably gets all smooth and crap looking like the one in my Mini and Porsche...

Do you have any pic's.. 13COBRA

Are you saying that they took your GEN 4 wheel and made it thicker like the GEN 5?

You can have it as thick as you want. I actually went a thicker than the Gen V ACR wheel because I have huge hands (XXL gloves).

I believe it was $500 or so, I don't remember off the top of my head. Took about 3 weeks. Ivan has the OEM wheels in stock, and will ship to you then give you a partial refund for the core return of your wheel. So you aren't ever without one.

I wouldn't hesitate to go through them again.

You’re probably ahead price-wise to buy a new standard GenV wheel from eBay for $400 and have a local shop re-cover it in alcantara with the red stripe. I recently bought a GenV wheel to put in my GenIV, I just need to decide what to do with the front bezel/buttons and find an airbag.

On my previous AMG this happened and with some looking online I found a DIY way with a magic eraser to bring it back to like new condition. That's why I was asking if it was covered in suede or alcantara from the factory.

You'll need a special tool, My body shop managed to get it done in around 15 minutes with it.

It’s just a steering wheel puller after removing the airbag cover and carefully removing the airbag with power disconnected.

Thank you. I figured as much I have done this before with other newer airbag cars. Was really looking for the trick to removing the first piece
