Has anybody purchased the new Uconnect Update for $149.00?

I just got a flyer in the mail today for my 2013.

Is it worth the money?

I had to renew UConnect because I lost the performance pages while at the track :/
$149 per year ain't that bad.

This seems to come up weekly. You don’t need to subscribe to UConnect to have performance pages, just need to have them fully delete your account.

Mine went away briefly (about 1 week after the update), then on a restart, they came back. Haven't driven the car since , so we'll see what happens. I only subscribe to UConnect in the Ram.

I remember that from earlier threads and I was considering it but I kinda wanted the Nav. Maybe next time I'll just forgo the UConnect stuff.

Pretty sure NAV still works without UConnect, but can’t say I’ve ever used it.

I had the same problem with the Uconnect, I found the solution. NO NEED TO HAVE THEM DO ANYTHING.
Just factory reset your navigation (I forgot how without looking at it), than when it asks you to register just click never ask again. I never had a problem again!

Just wanted to remind everyone that Uconnect steals a bunch of your personal info. They disclose it in the small print of the user agreement, but its still stealing. That's why I never subscribed. As far as map updates, it's a waste as well since Google Maps is always free with maps updated daily and it has an offline mode for the past 2 years as well, so you can use it even if you dont have signal. The built in nav is not even smart enough to route around traffic jams properly. Of course the manual says it's capable of traffic jam avoidance, but reality is different.

What a horrible situation.
