Hi,
I have a green 08 and the amber parking lights look really good, but they do not seem to be very bright and I want to have the LED look to them. Has anyone put halos in their headlight assembly? Do you have pictures and did you have any complications?
Thank you for your help

I have halos and interior leds but decided not to install leds on the amber parking lights. The bulb is amber that shines through a magnification lens. It may be a little brighter but who would know.

I would suggest trying LED switchbacks in the park light position. Will normally be bright white but when you put the turn signal on they will flash bright amber. I can post a video if you like. A lot cheaper than Halo's and you don't have to disassemble the housing.

Yes please would love to see. also. I like driving with the amber lights running. Is this option able to work like that?

I put halos in the fog lights. Very happy with how
they came out. I didn't want to do headlights because if not
done properly you will get condensation in assembly and have issues.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I did not install the halos myself. I would have a Viper tech remove the units and a qualified lighting company do the install. Either way be sure you have a key fob remote and a dimmer control installed. Pretty cool when you are in a parking lot and someone's checking your car out and you turn the halos on. Also be sure they don't scrimp on the glue holding the halos on. I had a Prowler done and one of the rings fell off because of lack of glue.

Got them on ebay from ledkingdom, but doesn't matter who. Pretty sure they are 3157's , just search led switchback and you should come up with more than a few options. With LED's, you get what you pay for. The more expensive ones will have internal resisters to mimic an incandescent bulb load so the car doesn't think they bulb is blown. Even better ones will be diode isolated. Because LED's use so little power, minimal stray voltage that a regular bulb wouldn't care about can make these things behave very strangely. You may also have to replace the relay with an electronic flasher. Led indicators are probably the number one bulb that will give you problems when you install them. Plenty of threads here about LED lighting upgrades. These lights are also very bright, much more so than the stock bulbs.
