I guess that's why the engineers for Viper included the blank plaque.......... LOL

A little off topic but this car looks so wrong with the GTS hood.

You're all assuming the owner is a dude who's got a side chick.
Perhaps the owner is the side chick and now she's selling it to make money after dumping the poor guy who bought her the car.

It's a shame someone spec'ed out a $160,000 non ACR..

If that includes the 775HP upgrade it's not quite as outrageous as it initially seems. As for some of us including myself, I don't spend enough time on track to make sense of an ACR. Any Viper is competent enough for the occasional track day and I enjoy having a car that's good for the drag strip and potentially 1/2, 1, and 2 mile events if and when I can get to them. To spend $130K - $160K on a car that can only achieve 170 - 175 mph does not sound appealing to some.

Hmmm.....since a side chick is essentially a " Mistress, " this seems quite appropriate. Heck my wife would probably say all of the Vipers I have had over the years were my " Side Chicks!!"

What was the 775Hp engine upgrade, Arrow H/C with PCM? Was it given the normal Viper factory warranty?

Why?

x2. Not everyone wants an ACR. And some of us wanted a lot of the available options.

Same here, the ACR just doesnt make sense for a lot of people, especially roll racers

No idea I just read the listing. From the history of this topic I believe the factory warranty would be void.

I'm somewhat interested in buying this one and have been looking at if for a week or so. The MSRP is actually only around $124k. The dealer added up extras and whatnot and got to the "$160k new" idea. It's a 2017 GTC with an MSRP of $124k and some really good mods...I'm trying to figure out what the "right" price is for me to jump back into my 4th Viper (second Gen V with heads/cam/exhaust upgrades, lol). Any thoughts? $110k? $115k? $120k?

With 2014 TA's pulling low to mid $90's, and with this being a 2017 car (admittedly not TA) with about $10k more in MFG options and $15k in mods, I could see this bringing $115k to $120k pretty easily. Or, another way to look at it is the OEM MSRP and you get the HC mods for free. It is a very low mile car, so probably pristine. This is basically a new car.

It has the TA 1.0 group and all the CF packages and CF X-brace. Only thing it doesn't have is a numbered dash when compared to the TA Package cars.

Agreed on it being pristine and basically new. But it’s still slightly used so I have a hard time seeing it bring MSRP if it was bone stock. The mods are worth something of course. You think $115k to $120k plus some money for the mods maybe?

correct.. its a ta.. except strangley they didnt spec the ta interior with the orange stitching. the late vin explains the gts hood (i believe they ran out of those hoods for the last handful specified). I think it actually does a bettter job of showing off the color
