Hello I have been researching this topic and have read many threads but everyone’s objective is different. Most people seem To be concerned with max HP or worried about voiding warranty. I’m not concerned with either. 640 HP is more than sufficient to say the least. I’m not tracking it or worried about shaving 1/100 off a lap time.

My goal is the most aggressive bad ass sound I can possibly get out of my gen V without being “cat less” as I do need to pass emissions in CT every 2 years.

Love some suggestions given my specific goal!! Fire away please and any vids would be great

Thank you Ninjakris I listened to a few sound clips of this set up on You Tube and didn't really love it. I am thinking i will probably like a Corsa set up better for my car. Anyone here have sound clips of a Corsa Exhaust with High flo cats and stock manifolds?

I have stock maniflds/HFC/Corsa, I listened to sound clips prior and I think it would be tough to make the call based on those alone......any local meets where you could hear this setup in person? I have a comparison sound clip but again, totally different sound in person. Not great but something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bMAMd1Llu4

I had full Belanger (headers, hi-flo cats, and cat back) on my 09 ACR and loved it!!!!

I agree with wrh3, if possible listen to several in person before pulling the trigger (also depends on how drone adverse you are).

I have a GenIV but the sound would be the same. I have the exact set you want to hear and am in MA. Where about in CT are you?

You dont have to put quotation marks around cat-less lol that just says what it is. As a salesman, from what you have explained, a full bellanger exhaust system with high flows would more than satisfy you considering all your criteria. but when you say most bad ass, thats only assosiated with catless ARH headers into a titanium catback such as the one one from viper exchange.

So Belanger over Corsa then? Yeah I would love to hear some set ups live in person

Hate to hijack your topic, but what cat-back exhaust sounds the most similar to the stock exhaust? I love the way the stock exhaust sounds but in the future if I wanted a louder version of that, what would I go with?

+1 for straight pipes. Hear it in person before you nix the idea. Less than $100 experiment if you don't like it. I did it to mine (before my h/c work) and for a friend. Everyone loves it

Keep the stock exhaust and get belanger highflow cats. This is exactly what your looking for. Same sound but about 20% louder.

Bonus: much cooler sills, small hp increase.

i got the belanger exhaust with HF cats, still stock headers. Mainly got it to lower side sill temps, get rid of the drone at 80 mph (drone shifted elsewhere), nicer flush tips, and deeper sound

I DEFINITELY want to lower the cabin heat, so i am thinking Defintiey Bellanger high flow cats but stuck between Corsa Extreme mufflers and the Bellanger Mufflers.....if i am changing the cats i am definitely changing the mufflers. I heard a few sound clips of both Bellanger AND Corsa mufflers that i really loved. i will stay away from the headers for now.

The only reason to go corsa is to eliminate drone

I definitely do not mind the drone, I definitely like the raspy, crackle exotic sound, is it safe to say thats more like the Corsa? MAN this is so tough! its like throwing dice! Does anyone have a Corsa or Bellanger they took off their car because they didn't like it? Ill buy it and try it.

Pulled the trigger with Jon B on the "Ultimate" Stubby Bellanger High Flow Cats and Bellanger exhaust. Went with the honeycomb cats so it would be louder. The drone has never bothered me, louder the better. I will let everyone know my thoughts/feedback after i get it on the car. Thanks again everyone!

I have the full Bellanger? (SP) headers and high flow cat setup on mine then the Corsa exhaust. Very little drone but absolutely quieter then the Bellanger. Frankly I find the car a little quiet with even the high flows, I would love to go straight pipe after the cat but I would get pulled over instantly in La Jolla.

Im sure that sounds amazing and i doubt its very quiet with headers! love it! And yes i am very familiar with what you are talking about in LaJolla my brother in law lives in Cornado and formerly San Diego and have been there quite a bit. Amazing place to be.
