Ordered My First Viper!

2014 Silver SRT, Sidewinder/Hyper wheels(non-optional tires), Ext & Int Carbon Fiber Accents with Black Leather seats, car cover. I've been talking to a handful of dealers over the last 2 to 4 weeks and finally took the plunge. Now the wait.. hehehe Dealer says: 10 to 14 weeks. I've always bought lease returns in the past, but this time I bought new as I plan to keep the Gen V for a few years. Can't wait to join in all the good times! Does anyone have a link that will track an actual order?

Cashcorn, I have ordered plenty of times and there is no reliable way to track your vehicle. It's frustrating, even the Vots system is not accurate at all. I am not sure they even use that on Vipers. The best advice I can offer is to tell the dealership sales manager that you would like a call as soon as the truck calls them, which doesn't always happen. Also tell them NOT to PDI the car until you are present. I don't let them wash it either.

I like to be the one taking the plastic off the seats, help or be there when the tech does the PDI. It's a one of a kind experience. Bring someone to take pictures. You won't regret the purchase!!! I love my new 14!

They install a few fuses, check a few things, and they drive it to make sure no problems and get gas. You can drive it around to service with a cooperative dealer, be in service and watch what they do and then you can drive it to a local station with the tech or salesman to get gas. That's what I did. I need to get pics off my hubby phone for the rest of my Gen v delivery. I will post in a bit. I am excited for you! CONGRATS!

I know how excited you are. I have had Camaros, Vettes and 3 Vipers, the anticipation is killer, but so worth it when the big day arrives. If you are like me, I never dreamed I could own something so incredible. It is a dream come true and its so special each time it happens.

I am finding that there don't seem to be very many Gunmetal colored cars. My Blue Viper was one of 23 with no stripes and 10 spoke wheels. So many more options on the Gen V.

those side sills come standard on a gts car, and are optional on a srt car.
