2017 Carolinas Viper Owners Association Holiday Party(November 11, 2017)
Where has the time gone, another year has past and it's already time for our Holiday / End of Year party. Since last year's location received a lot of compliments due to its centralized location, private dining room (Thanks to Capital CJD and Mike Reeves), quality of food and service, we have chosen the same location for this year's event.
Dinner will be at the Print Works Bistro, located in the Proximity Hotel, 702 Green Valley Road, Greensboro, NC, with a choice of five entrees (see attached) to select from. Also, available for kids will be chicken tenders, french fries and a fruit cup. Please respond via email as to which entree you prefer and how any children dinners will be required.
This year's cost is $20.00 per person (via PayPal link below), which will be REFUNDED to you that night, hopefully to purchase raffle tickets, as this year, we really have some nice gifts to give away. There will be no cost for the children's dinner, as the club will pick these up as well as the adult dinners.
This year we will be having a guest speaker, Mr. Bob Guerity, who was the Project Manager for the Viper Pace Car Program during the 75th Indy 500 race. He will enlighten us on what it was like during the early start of the Viper program and what it took to get the Viper ready for the 75th running of the Indy 500.
For those who are travelling for this event, rooms have been blocked under the name Carolinas Viper Club at the Proximity Hotel. (The room rate is $214.00, plus tax). There are several other hotels nearby if you wish to stay somewhere else.
IMPORTANT HOTEL INFO: Reservation deadline for the discounted rate is October 28, 2017.
Like past years, some rather nice gifts will also be raffled off after dinner. This will also be a great time to meet our newest members, and introduce the newly elected club officers to everyone. and discuss next year’s events.
The cut off date for registering is Nov 5th, after that date, the deposit can not be refunded as we have to guarantee the hotel/restaurant a definite number of dinner guest.
This dinner/gathering is going to be great, just this one event will recoup a majority of your annual membership fees to the VOA.
Remember to renew your membership before the end of the year for your Carolinas VOA club to receive the maximum benefit from the national VOA so we can continue to provide these and other events next year.
