I think I may need to replace the bushings up front and had a couple of questions. For those that have done this, did you need to remove the sway bar end links or were you able to leave those on the car. I had my end links replaced a couple years ago. Also, if i’m doing the fronts, should I do the rears as well? Further more, should I do the rear end links at the same time. Last I checked the rears appeared to be in good shape BUT the car is 16 yers old. Also, should the steering rack bushings be done too?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. BTW...car is a 2001.

You don't have to remove end links. Energy suspension makes very affordable polyurethane bushings so I would just change all 4. Mark at IPSCO also has better brackets that use the Energy suspension bushings as well which I installed here in this vid

Thanks for the info. I may just have to do that. I looked at the IPSCO mounts and they seem really good quality. Ive got his Power Steering Pulley and bracket on my car. Great stuff.
Any thoughts on the steering rack bushings?

Man you are making me bomb your thread with videos but its the most in depth explanation I can give you lol. I like them and they tightened up my steering a lot. My stock bushings were pretty sloppy when I took them out as seen in the video.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Did you car make any unusual noise when you lowered it back to the ground after changing links & sway bar mounts? I just finished mine last night and it made some louder creaks and cracks as it came back down... I checked the clearance of the end links & the control arms and there's no contact or anything. No clue what it might be

Did you grease the bushings for the sway bars? If not, that would be your creaks.

Yes I did.

To add to the question above, did you physically spread grease with your finger on the inside surface of the bushings and on the actual sway bar? If you only relied on the grease nipple then that would be the answer.
