My 2008 Viper ACR has a rear diffuser from the factory. DSE produces extended strakes for the 2013+ Viper ACR, but not for the previous Gen. I thought about getting extensions machined and attach them to my current blades, but decided to go ahead and replace the entire blade.

I found a guy online that produced the OEM sized blades, and contacted him to see if he could machine something larger; he said he would give it a try.

I sent him this picture to show him a rough estimate on how much larger I would like them to be:

28923

Took a couple of weeks since he was busy with current projects, but got them in Monday. They have the same fittings as the OEM, just a tad longer.

Of course I had to paint them black so they didn't stand out terribly.

OVERALL: Turned out exactly how I had wanted it to, and was incredibly easy. I only had to fabricate the undercarriage to accept the outside blade on either side, as I went from 4 total, to 6. I'm very happy with it!

Saw this on SVTP as well. Great work and it looks factory. Is this guy the same one that sells the pieces on eBay? He is a motorcycle fabricator primarily.

These turned out great. Let us know if you're going to be producing them for resale....I'd be very interested.

He is not going to mass produce them and store on hand, but he will produce them. Just takes a couple of weeks. (Longer for you since you're across the pond).

Not very good ones that show the diffuser.

Here's my baby announcement picture, probably the best depiction.
