With my friend in his 918 at the famous Spa F1 circuit. I had just started on track and the 918 was just behind me. He then appears about 35 seconds into the video. Ok its not a straight dual as there was lots of traffic and so we couldn't do a proper head to head, however its clear to see the 918's superior fire power to overtake when it has a straight in front of it. At points I would have been able to close the gap substantially were it not for the traffic, but it was what it was. Anyway a bit of fun. Hope you get the drift.

And here is my fastest lap of the day there. Overall there was lots of traffic and which only allowed me a couple of free laps towards the end of the day. Managed to get this flying lap and despite fluffing a change with the engine cut-off still posted a 2:38.39. On analysing my other laps and sectors it seems my predicted best lap would have been a 2:37.5 if I got the best sectors of the day together in one lap. Anyway I think there is definitely another couple of seconds left on the table. I believe it is the fastest lap for a manually driven, street production car on street rubber unless anyone has any link to suggest otherwise.

In fact for those interested here is a comparison of my ACR lap time vs some other well driven cars at Spa :
Clockwise from top left: 1. KTM XBow(380hp) 2. Porsche 991 GT3 RS 3. Dodge Viper ACR-E 4. Nissan GT-R Nismo

Clean lap. I was just racing this track on Forza last night for a few hours, so this is cool to see.

Looked pretty good to me.

You passed a few of those Porsches and BMWs like they were in reverse

mis-shift on that turn just before you took it wide when the 918 took you?

Awesome vids! Thanks for posting! And I bet everyone on that track was terrified of hitting that 918. LOL

Ah forgot to mention that I was black flagged for being too loud! The sound monitor was just at that point so I had so I was told to short shift and stay to the right away from the monitor!
Towards the end of the day however I didn't bother however!

Not really. He tracks that 918 quite regularly. Unfortunately his brake pads had run low and needed to urgently ship 4 corner pads at a cost of 10k!!! Ouch!

Pretty cool. I notice you get to track your car a lot - so that's good.

Can you tell the story how you got your ACR? Just curious.

If he can afford a $1M car, 10K is pocket change...
Sucks for the rest of the mortal such as us :)

Nice driving. Perhaps I'll get to drive SPA one of these days.

Two words for you. Twin Turbos. Get them.

I'd love to see the look on his face as you annihilate him in the straits as well!

Cooling and reliability is an issue with mods and turbos when tracking

LOL. Twin Turbo's on a Viper and you're done after 1 lap.

Exactly. Which is why I'm not considering such radical mods as I use the car primarily for track. Heck although I would like like to consider the 9 liter or even H/C conversion I'm just not sure how that would hold up with repeated pounding around the track. Any thoughts on that anyone?

Great lap time mate.

I had my Speciale out there a couple years ago against a 918 and LAF and the power those two cars has on the straights is insane!

Love SPA! Very envious you took the ACR over there!

Cheers Josh. Yes it is a pleasure taking her around the circuit. I know there is more time in her. Just need more seat time and I'm sure it will come. Yes the 918 is brutal in its acceleration and power.....

Talk To Arizona Vipers about both of these as he has both and lots of knowledge of the benefits of these on a track.

Awesome videos!!!
