ARH Gen 4 5 headers are they interchangeable

There are 2 different part numbers for the G4 and G5

FWIW, when I got my ARH headers, the paperwork for the inventory of parts was for a Gen IV. I was a little worried, but everything bolted up just fine.


I asked the same question a few months ago. My understanding is the AR headers for the Gen 4 and 5 are the same. You can call ARH, ask for Steve Doten-1-631-608-1986 ext. 101. Here is a link to my post.

Yes headers and turnouts are the same, catback is different.

Thanks for the reply, Steve from ARH said it was just wanted to make sure, have a set from a Gen 4 and just wanted to make sure they would work on a Gen 5.

Maybe it was just a difference in the turn outs, but I could have sworn they were not a direct swap. I could also be completely mistaken.

I did end up installing the ARH heads. The turn outs are the same but the gen 5 is reduce from 3" to 2 1/2 or 2 1/4 ( sorry I don't remember off the top of my head) where it enter into the stock mufflers. I end up going to a exhaust shop and had them make me a 3" reduce to 2 1/2". and all was well.

Yes it does...I just don't know if they are the exact same dimensions Gen 4 vs. Gen 5.

The turn out angle is different. The uppers are the same. This is covered on a few threads. Search on this site. Theres a ton of info buried as there is only really one place where all G5 info is posted.
