Now I know this has something to do with track, but it seems some people enjoy watching some of these videos in the GenV section. If however the mods want to move it to the track section then I suppose that's fine. Its for entertainment and to put our car in context with another great car.
Just got back from Zandvoort Holland. Fantastic little circuit. Used to host F1 races in the past.
Here's a little tussle between my ACR-E and a 675LT at Zandvoort. Apologies for the sideways of the camera towards the end as it seemed to be sliding that day. My first time at Zandvoort and early in the day. The LT driver had been to Zandvoort before so knew the circuit a bit better than me. Through the first lap you obviously can't see the LT as he's behind me and pushing me. On the second lap he passes me. But I'll add in my excuse(as one would!) You'll see that during the second lap I come across a Renault Clio Cup-which my son is driving with an instructor. Its his first time in race car and first few laps ever at Zandvoort. So I slowed down a bit so as I didn't want to unnerve him and unsettle him off his line. This of course gave the LT an opportunity to come closer to me-and with his superior power to weight punching in the straight had an opportunity to dive on the inside of me. It was then me giving chase. You can see how the LT pulls through the straights much more convincingly. Add to the that the flappy paddle box makes it much easier and quicker to extract the performance. Great fun all round though! Oh and by the last lap my tyre pressures had creeped up to 40PSi so where getting a bit balloony and had to slow down at some point.Hope you guys enjoy it. If you guys want I have another good tussle with a well driven 991 GT3RS on the same circuit on the same day on my channel!

Sweet vid. +1 on the thanks for sharing.. Love the 675 LT. Near 140mph in the 1/4 tells you its an accelerating beast so the Viper will not mess with it in the straights. Yes please on the vid with the GT3 RS, another great car.

Awesome vid, thanks for sharing. Most vids on here are fun to watch, this was a blast. Props to you and the Micky owner for getting these high dollar beasts out to run like they are built to do.

Watched the 991 video too...very cool.

From what I could see ambient was 66ish and your oil temps hit 242 and no higher.

Yes it was about that. I had problems with coolant overheating at the Ring a couple of weeks back. Went up to 242 F coolant with the light on. Granted the Ring is a long circuit with lots of 2nd and 3rd gear corners and high revs so engine is constantly close to red line. It was also about 88 degrees ambient with track temp at 108 degrees! As the Viper boys were at the Ring, I spoke to Dick Winkles and asked what I should do. He said take a hacksaw to the plastic front grill and take out one of the 2 horizontal bars as well as the central plastic mesh grill. Which I have done. This will increase airflow to radiator which is what is required. He said he wanted no plastic fascia/grill in the front and prefered just a loose mesh in the front but the designer guys overruled him! Its all about air flow he said not bigger radiator.. Since then, at Zandvoort the coolant levels stayed very low . Don't know what it would be like at higher ambient but will see in the future. I'm off to Spa Francorchamps in 10 days!
