Hoping someone knows someone who knows someone..
I special ordered my Gen V ACR in July of last year for plant pickup. 4/28 plant pickup was awesome. I've been working with Viper Concierge and my dealer since 4/29 as my name is spelled incorrectly on the window sticker. This has been back and forth since then trying to get a replacement with my name spelled correctly.
Today I was told they agreed to reprint a new sticker, but will not correct the spelling of my name.
To special order a car that I plan on keeping my whole life, my only special order new car, my name spelled correctly on the sticker is the least I'd expect. It's spelled correctly on everything else, just not the sticker. I can't believe I've been asking for this for over 90 days and now being told it can't happen.
Does anyone have any help to offer? It would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, I think it will make an interesting "factory mistake" that could be cool conversation starter in the years to come. Honestly, if that is the biggest issue you have with the car, then you're already ahead of the game. I wish that was the only issue I had with my Viper.
Congrats on the ACR, by the way.

You can always get the Window sticker from the dodge website. It's a PDF. Then you could always edit it and correct the name, print and voila!

Yep, good idea! And keep the original (misspelled) for when you sell it at Barrett Jackson in 40 years!

Why is correcting your name on the sticker such a big deal? Would think that they could take care of this pretty easily, but I guess not.

Perhaps some wording in the law that covers that sticker has personnel at FCA questioning whether they want to alter the label.https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/15/1233
U.S. Code › Title 15 › Chapter 28 › § 1233 - Violations and penalties
(c) Removal, alteration, or illegibility of required label
Any person who willfully removes, alters, or renders illegible any label affixed to a new automobile pursuant to section 1232 of this title, or any endorsement thereon, prior to the time that such automobile is delivered to the actual custody and possession of the ultimate purchaser of such new automobile, except where the manufacturer relabels the automobile in the event the same is rerouted, repurchased, or reacquired by the manufacturer of such automobile, shall be fined not more than $1,000, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both. Such removal, alteration, or rendering illegible with respect to each automobile shall constitute a separate offense.

Right? They printed a bunch of new window stickers with a $15,000 price adjustment. The 2015 VW TDI I have in the driveway has 2 window stickers.
I'm not asking for anything other than my name to be spelled correctly and attentiion was brought to Viper Concierge less than 24 hrs from leaving the plant. They can have the old one back for all I care. What if someone who ordered a Demon had the same issue? I'd think they would be just as bummed out.
Just a shitty answer to get IMO. Pretty bummed. Let me frame my custom order cars window sticker. NM my name isn't spelled correctly. (Yet spelled correctly through the whole Concierge process etc)
I'd have to THINK this has happened previously to someone else. Calls to SRT have gone unanswered.

That's pretty ridiculous they won't fix this, especially considering the cost of the car. Something like that would annoy me enough to lawyer up, even as small an issue as this may be.

I am with you 100%, F that, they should totally give you a new sticker. I'm sure it's some political nonsense but I would also be very irritated. I'm sorry I cannot be of more assistance.

That's disgraceful after spending that kind of dough someone can't make it right.

The whole idea about the 1 of 1 was to make it personal, so it would seem like this would be a no brainer for them and something they would want to fix
I wonder if the window sticker was showing something else wrong, like the specs on the build, if they would jump on it then.
Stay on them......

Changing your name to their spelling will be easier than dealing with FCA. The great thing about Viper dying is I won't be tempted to buy from them again.

That was exactly my thought... like the immigrants that came in through Ellis Island and were forced to change the spelling of their names by some government worker who just did not really care how it was really spelled, good enough for government work.
Personally, as difficult as it might have been on that awesome limited edition vehicle, I would have just taken a bunch of pictures and walk away while telling them to call me when they fixed the issue and I would be happy to buy it for real... that was a good test run now build me a new car or changed the sticker!

If it says "McLovin", then keep it. Otherwise they should correct it. Any excuse from FCA in that situation is a lame one.

I hit him up for some pointers. He was quick to reply and I thanked him.
I don't want to put it on him since I didn't get purchase from him. Not his fight IMO.
I will keep trying!
