Hey everyone

Planning on driving the Viper to CAAP from Florida. My front tires have 60% tread (stock Pirellis) my rear tires are Toyo R888 (probably like 2k miles on them). Extremely confidence inspiring but I don't know how they are in the rain.
I have a brand new pair of rear Pirellis i got from JonB a year ago or so from that sale. Would it make sense to mount those Pirellis for the trip? Or does 2500 miles really wear out the Toyos?

Thanks

I never mix and match tire brands. Put the Pirellis on....

Yeah, R888's and rain don't mix.

The roads around the plant aren't the best either. Pete, I'd switch them out for the trip.

Agree100% the roads getting to CAAP suck and that's being polite about it. The parking lot is great:rolleyes: R888's ain't what you want up there so swap out the rears.

Thanks guys. Having the diff replaced on Monday so I'll have them swap out the rears as well.
