Anyone know what the red LED dot that sometimes appears in the rear view mirror indicates?

If im not mistaken its the car trying to orient itself with the telematics

its not the auto dimming of the rear view mirror? This is what I've noticed in most cars if there is a light on the rear view mirror

No, Actually it means the embedded cellular phone link (which you may not even know it is there, you are not charged for it, but Dodge uses it to spy on you and who knows what else) is not connecting to the cell network. You could be in a tunnel or in a parking garage or on highway with no 3G service....(part of "U-connect") and it can be used by criminals to attack you...

or, its cable, which plugs in to the back of the radio, is getting loose...

and if you try to access internal phone features the screen will flash see dealer...
