Got that right! This is the first winter since 2001 that I've had to use a battery charger. Never have 4 consecutive weeks ever gone by where I couldn't take the Viper out ... till this year.

I was thinking about taking mine out tomorrow, but the dust clouds of salt on the road are literally that...clouds. I might have to run the SRT8 though, she hasn't been out in a couple weeks. My blue Dart (my DD) is literally white from the salt.

Neither the Viper nor the Charger have sat for more than 4 weeks since I've owned them (April 10 for the Viper, and Feb 07 for the Charger). It's bad to let cars sit.

Man, you're telling me. We can hardly even have fun up here: I had planned an indoor go karting trip but now looks like our 1 hour drive might be smashed with 3-10" of snow during the day.

I have zero outdoor winter hobbies. The most I can do is sit inside and goof around with the GoPro or something.

My winter toy. Wrong wheel drive though. And at 154k miles, its not exactly cherry.

In the summer time, I forget how bad winter can be and I think, "winter gives me an appreciation for the changing of the seasons and the precious time I do have with the Viper." But right about now I'm thinking, "Who needs appreciation when you can just drive it whenever you want anyways?"

Time to start making a 5 year plan that includes MOVING!

Well, 4" of snow at the house last night, calling for an additional 12" of snow to start on the drive home here in Colorado.

Global warming, what a farce! I think they need to mandate all high hp modified cars to forgoes the emissions testing so people drive them to warm up the local region. Talked to my uncle up in Saskatchewan and they haven't even seen temps above -25 for the majority of the winter along with a lot of -40(+) days and nights. That and they are into the feet of accumulated snow which will be there until April. He is bout ready to just lose it all the way to Mexico!

So the snow was just about gone, and the fools at DOT sent a plow/salt truck through our neighborhood. The nearly clear streets are now white with salt in several places.

The Viper and Vette are staying put until after the first heavy rain.

-25c or f? Both are damn cold regardless (-25c = -13f and -25f = -31c)

I love the cold weather, but my only downside is I don't take the viper out. Where I live it hit 40 today and I feel I could of worn a tank top and shorts it was so warm lol. Viper is itching to be driven, but the salt is just insane right now.

I do have this for my DD/winter funmobile

Weather for January in the UK has been the wettest since records began! Army has been asked to help people in Somerset, SW England. Its Just non stop rain here :( I was very lucky last weekend, we got hit by a freak Tornado, (yea, 1st one I have ever experienced) I was driving home and a Very large tree came down in front of the car (not the viper), as I reversed the car at speed back up the road another tree came down behind us! We don't normally get weather like that, scary stuff!

Coldest winter I can remember here in years. Unfortunately our cold is -35C and we have had a lot of days of that this year. But it seems our regular temps are around -25C which is DAMN cold. I don't like the cold, but it's the dang wind we've been getting here the past couple weeks that I can't take anymore. Gusts up to 55+ mph, blowing our trampoline all over the backyard till it hits the fence and bringing windchills up to -35f. Then it warms up about 30 degrees for a day or so and plummets back into the sub-zero temps the next. Ready for a long, hot summer!

I am the biggest pansy about cold weather. I grew up in Michigan and moved to Florida after high school. Skiing and sledding were fun, but that was when I was a little twerp and didn't feel cold. When I turned 16, it was like a switch was flicked and suddenly cold 24/7. I knew I had to get out of the Midwest. Best decision I have ever made.

Stay warm my friends.

Arghh. Oh ya. Dont get me started about the FU?$@$G wind. Not only do we get the -35C cold but then throw a 60 mph wind into the equation. We had -59 C with the windchill a few weeks ago. You need to feel that once in your life just to know what we put up with here. And weve been getting that every damn week this winter it seems. I cant wait for summer. The mosquitoes get so bad they pick up small children and dogs and carry them away. What the hell am I doing here??? Lol

Polaris also came out with a new new machine just the other day, a totally unique single seater... Half the horsepower but still pretty quick and a lot less money too... Kinda like a 21st century awd Honda Pilot...

I'm also getting tired of it myself.

We don't normally get that much snow here but this year we've already had two - three pretty good storms.

Finally got tired of shoveling it and they are delivering this sometime this week. Couldn't really justify it because we have a short driveway so I told her I would plow the neighbors driveways too.

You'll love that thing. My wife normally works from home but she had to get out to an important meeting today and there was 5" of snow in my 400Ft+ driveway and my road wasn't plowed yet to the main street. I took my Rhino and 62" plow and did the driveway and a 1/2 mile road in 25 minutes.

Ya its amazing how much snow you can push with one of these things. I have a 500 Polaris with a 60" plow and I can do my driveway in no time as well as some of the neighbors too. last year I was on it every other day as we had a record snowfall for the winter. This year weve been lucky and haven't had much snow and I've only had to use the plow 2 times. Were just stuck in a permanent deep freeze. Coldest winter weve ever had as long as I can remember.

14-22 is a little over generous. The potential is there, whether the cold is or not is another thing. Since its a 2 LP nor'easter it will draw warm air in from the south. Will be a wet/heavy snow. Could be 14-22 if it was a light powdery snow but I doubt it. S. Jersey will be more rain. I could still see over a foot to philly though. Unless thats including snow on the ground from the past 2 storms since last monday

Well either way, getting the Raptor ready for more tomorrow night then

Not so much Snow in the South of England but the wettest weather since records began(over 2 hundred yrs ago), South West of England severe flooding, coastal railway lines washed away cutting off S/W England from the rest of the country, miles and miles of flooded land and homes, rivers bursting their banks. In the Greater London area the river Thames has burst its banks in areas, Windsor area (near Heathrow Airport) is under water with thousands of people told to evacuate their homes and many, many homes under water, businesses flooded and there's more to come, much more!

Luckily I'm on very high ground, but I feel for the thousands that have lost their homes :(

Yeah of course, so much violence coming from a camera. LOL CLICK!

Fact: Photographers are the only people in the world that can shoot things and erase the evidence.

I know... :lame:

BTW looks like you guys got more than we did. I think were still expecting another round of snow. Everything is closed. (mostly everything, the mall is open. Dimwits.)

Amazing! Love it. Now I want to see you take one of those out with the gang to a C&C event this Spring. You might have to because we're going to have these piles of snow hanging around until July at this rate.

Here's warm weather pics to keep you guys from going crazy. It was 75 degs here yesterday, and I took the snake to the gym, and then over to the Port of Canaveral for some pics the new Port Of Canaveral Greeting Center in the background. And the snake is in need of a bath in these pics! Enjoy...

Another 1-3 inch snow dump tomorrow. :(

BUT...the heat is supposed to finally kick on just after it snows. Expecting to crack the 50's for the first time on Friday.
