Any ideas? I was taking out the dash pad to replace a burned out turn signal indicator bulb in my 99GTS and accidentally scratched the coating off of the passenger side windshield pillar cover. Somehow in twisting the drivers side of the dash to clear the steering wheel I slipped above the portion that I had taped and gouged the coating off!?! Also made a little scratch down low! Damn it anyway! Guess it's really a two person task or maybe I just got a little rough!
It's sort of a flat black coating but it's not really paint, is it? Has a funny texture and I'm looking for ideas on how to repair/touch-up the scratch?
Any ideas are appreciated! All this just to change a bulb!!!!
