Are good clear bras available for the Gen V? How about anything for the front of the side sills behind the front wheels and for the rear behind the rear wheels (those areas get sandblasted!)?

Yes Xpel and Suntek make excellent films. My neighbor had Suntek applied to his Stryker gen v and it looks awesome!

I had mine done with Prestige Clear Guard X film. I wanted to have the whole front wrapped, but there wasn't a single sheet of film large enough to wrap the whole clam shell
hood. So wrapped as much as I could..

If someone has done one with a pre-cut pattern let me know. We have a company that does patterns out of Denver, but they have not gotten it completed on the Gen V. Frankly tired of waiting ,
and would like to find a company that has the pattern done for the new Snake. Realize there are guys out there free-styling, but we have seen so many that have cut lines in the paint ( many owners
did not even notice ) that we want one that is computer cut and matched. Appreciate the help.
Sincerely,
Bill Pemberton

Fantastic ----------just let me know who the company is ( not the installer , the product and manufacturer). We have used one company as we like the installer, but we are still hanging fire
with them getting a pre-cut on the Gen V. The plus is they have a Nationwide Network and full warranty. That is what we need to check on the one doing your install.
Send me the info at;

Bill Suntek has a precut kit already out. My installer preferes it over the expel.

That's good news. Is there a one piece for the hood or are there seams?
My installer used 3M on my nose and doors, and Expel for the hood. The Expel looks MUCH better than the 3M, which has orange peel galore. The Expel is nearly invisible. How does Suntek compare in this regard?
I'm going to have the hood redone (air bubbles, a hair) so looking at all options.

Suntek and Xpel are completely orange peel free. I had 3M on my last car and wasn't happy with it. Suntek and Xpel are extremely similar.
There is a hood seem if you do the entire thing, none of the manufacturers make a piece wide enough for the Vipers.

John - As Jeremy already mentioned, Pete at TVPAuto down on Westgate did my TA and Gen III. He did a PHENOMENAL job on both cars. I would highly recommend him. In fact, I'm going back to him next week for another project.

I have the front precut kit. The Suntek and Xpel seems are damn near invisible compared to 3M. It's a MUCH better product. NOthing wrong with 3M and it's still much better than nothing but the newer films are surperior to the older products.

Thanks Flatout. Does the seam on the hood run longitudinal or transverse? Just one seam?

Last year I had my Gen V over at my tint/ppf place in Austin and they had Xpel come down to do all the measurements since they are based in San Antonio. I will say it was the best PPF job that I have had! No seams or relief cuts in areas where I was sure there would be, 100% satisfied. Sorry no pictures but I had them do the entire front end no half hood seam.

I have Suntek on my front end of my Gen3. If I got a Gen5 I would defintiely have the entire car done in the Suntek. It looks great.

You won't be disappointed. I did my front bumper, side sills, and behind the rear wheels for less than $500. I thought it was a GREAT price for the quality I received.
