I’m looking at a 2013 GTS that was a Chrysler buy back due to a left plenum chamber seam leak. Does anyone have knowledge of exactly this is and is it an issue that could cause a long term issue? The car only has 2500 miles on it. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Dennis

Plenum as in the intake manifold? If that's what they are referring to, it would have been a manufacturing defect that would be easily fixed by replacing the entire intake manifold with a new, non-leaking unit. If it is the intake manifold, and it was leaking, the PCM would be throwing codes, and the car probably wouldn't idle well.

Wasn't there a poster here recently with a manifold or head gasket issue? Wonder if this is the same car? Can't remember...
