More fun at the track with ACR

Just had my first track day at Silverstone last week. Lots of traffic and lots of cars spinning off so we had quite a few red flags unfortunately so only got one clear run and this was it. Great track, my second time there overall. I don't believe there has been another similar car there before so no reference I guess. However I feel there is certainly more in the tank and could dip another 5 seconds with a bit of work fairly quickly.However just to put my time in perspective Fernando Alonso holds the track record at 1:30.874 in a Formula 1!!

Many thanks for your comments guys. That's what these cars are meant for I guess so we have to do what we can to enjoy them to the fullest whilst continually finding ways of improving ourselves as well��

The car is the star! I gather its the only ACR-E in the UK and amongst a sea of Porsches, Ferraris, and Mclarens it does stand out! Everyone wants to come around, talk to you and be your friend so its a great social tool from that point of view.

Here is a couple of laps of my latest Silverstone track day, 2 weeks after the first. I'm getting better. I figure I've dropped about 4 seconds from then all things considering. I think the car has a 2:14-2:15 in it or possibly lower. Certainly one of, if not, the fastest production coupes on the track. Even taking into consideration my newbie status with tracking cars!I even gave a race prepped Audi R8 V10 on slicks a run for his money even if he was a touch faster than me in the end. But I will improve I know it!

Closest I've gotten to that track is on Real Racing 3 on my iPhone! Jealous of you guys who get to run at Laguna Seca, Silverstone, Mount Panorama, etc.

1:30. So about a minute faster than a ACR. THink about that for a second. F1 cars/drivers are amazing.
