Quick question

Has anyone run the 1/4 and 1/2 mile in a stock ACR Extreme with the rear wing off?

Probably the same as every other stock Viper...

Probably even slower than an srt or ta due to heavier wheels + little more downforce if the front splitter is still attached.

I cant even understand the thinking of wanting to drag an ACR,maybe because you can,lol.......If I wanted a great all around track and drag weapon I would get a GTR or R8 and add boost. Or heaven forbid, ( flame suit on) a Z06 with cooling mods,lol.

There has to be a very significant difference in the 1/2 mile between a full aero ACR-E and one without the rear wing. The speeds are high enough that the wing (which is where the majority of the 1,700 lbs. of downforce comes from) probably holds it back quite a bit. In the 1/4, definitely not as bad, but there is still about 1,000 lbs. of downforce happening at around 110 mph.

Like LABrit, I'd be curious to see if anyone has done it just to satisfy my scientific curiosity.

Why not compare to a non ACR? Seems that if straight line speed is the objective an ACR would be counter productive.

Someone has done it. I don't know if the owner is on the VOA nor do I know the specs on the car, whether it's stock or if it has a heads and cam package. Also don't know what numbers he ran. But here's a picture.
