Finally It s Here

Finally have her home and put on 815 miles already. The drive from Detroit to Minneapolis was pretty good. Handled fine in the cool temps and in the rain. I'm impressed with how quiet at cruise speeds these are. Going from a 2005 to this is a big difference. The interior is so much nicer and more refined. Having the UConnect system was great for the drive home to watch the weather and see what the rain was doing. I was surprised I was getting around 19mpg on the drive home, probably due to the break in restrictions. Everyone at CAAP was great during the tour and the reveal. So caught up in the moment I didn't even get any pictures of my car under the cover, but thankfully the photographer that went with us did. It was a great experience and I'm glad I drove it home, so much fun!

Picking it up, you'll notice it isn't in the normal room. We picked up 6 Vipers on Friday, all of them ACR-E's! We'll be posting images of that soon, it was pretty awesome seeing them all lined up in front when we left.

That's awesome!!! Congrats on the new car she's a beauty. Even better than the car is the memories made between father and daughter. I went and purchased mine with my daughter as well. We spent the afternoon at the dealer and took lots of pictures in the Viper and a bunch of other cars. My daughter talks about the trip and how we bought "daddy's new car" all the time. It's the cutest thing ever and just thinking about it puts a smile on my face. Enjoy it in good health, continue taking as many pics as possible, especially with your daughter and keep making those memories. :)

Yeap, that's the thing with the copperhead color, it fluctuates so much depending on the light.

I was really surprised at how well it handled the rain. Kept it right around 60mph easy on the lane changes and acceleration. Didn't really feel any slippage or anything. Matter of fact the entire drive home I was more worried about the idiots trying to speed up to get their cameras out.

Got Doug's quick connect battery charger installed today as well as the splitter extension. Also got my camera hardwired into the mirror tap finally. Getting the oil changed tomorrow to send the first sample to blackstone. Making progress!

Yeah it went by way too fast. I barely had the trunk open and you guys all had your cars moved! haha
