I got a call today that my ACR Extreme should be arriving very soon. I'll be flying to the dealership and driving her home (about a 7 hr drive, nothing to bad). I was planning on shipping a container of the Road Warrior Plus to the dealership along with some other stuff that I like to keep in a car. They told me that they do a 3m Pro Series film on the front bumper/lower portion of the hood/mirrors/side skirts/front roof.

I was planning at some point doing a wrap but now wondering if I should just have them do before I pick the car up in a couple of weeks.

Thanks,
P.J.

Do they do paint correction before installing the film?

Great question. I'll be asking when I talk to them next. If not, then I'll hold off and just ship the Road Warrior to them.

A local dealer here is doing the full gambit some Vipers, including paint correction and ceramic coatings and clear bras. They do very good work. well partnering with a 3rd party.

Why would pristine paint need correction? Isn't correction for scratches, imperfections, acid rain and buffer marks. Has Prefix's work gone to shit or is this something you do to a brand new hand polished car so you can tell your buddies at cars and coffee that you had it done and they all nod and think that's cool. Just wondering.

Prefix is pretty good. Still needs correction though. Had minor buffer marks in my paint correction fixed.

you never know what happens when the car leaves Prefix and the potential to sit in a jungle gym showroom for a while.

I had a full detail and then xpel done. Was circa $6500.00 and well worth doing.
