Got some of that stuff a couple weeks ago. Put some on the roof (as pictured), on the wing and on the side sills.
The side sills didn't melt the stuff either. You can see it from close but otherwise, from a few feet away it just looks like some orange peel paint job :)
Easy enough to remove too. Takes a while to apply with the little roller and I put 2 coats on the roof and wing and 3 coats on the sills.
Good stuff.

Cool! You decided to remove it? How much does it cost?

I only removed the part that was on the roof. It's not very expensive, I believe that a quart is $40.
The product is actually Road Warrior Plus... I couldn't remember the proper name last night :D
I'll remove the layer that I put on the side sills as well because since they heat up, I want to make sure that it doesn't get baked and become a pain to remove. It did hold up really well.

This has been posted before. Here's the link, I'm getting some myself to try as I'm about out of track tape and this looks pretty cool.
I'm hopefully getting xPel this or next week, but see using this in addition in key areas for long hauls, and track duty. I'll be testing a small area over the xPel once I get that done and report back.
Thanks for posting some pics, good to see it looks to be as advertised.

cool idea, did you get it on the seals any? if so, was it hard to get off? Also would be curious as to how well it protects.

Seems like it's best for parts of the car not protected by a good film. I'd be super careful to not have that get anywhere near the seams of a film as it may degrade the longevity of the film.

I'll take a picture of the side sills/rocker panels.
I haven't removed it yet.
I didn't put any on top of the clear wrap because it's easy enough to clean.

So how long can you keep this stuff on? I definitely want to put this behind the rear tire. Can I just leave it on for a season and then peel off before storage?
Where'd you buy it? I went to try it and sites aren't showing it in stock.

I bought it there: https://www.roadwarriorplus.com/Paint-Protection-s/1477.htm
On Saturday I finally washed the snake after 4 track days...

It's pretty easy to remove, just spay with water for a little while (30 seconds maybe) and peel it off.
It you put more than one layer, it's actually easier to peel off than just one.
Make cleaning so much easier, although I put it on places that would usually get chipped (beginning of the roof, side sills, area just behind the rear wheels, ACR wing.

I had the stuff on my side sills for 4 track days. It got really dirty but it held up despite the heat.
I also put some on behind the rear wheels and it's barely noticeable if you don't apply it like a pig (ask me how I know LOL).
The bottle I got has plenty of the stuff so that I can remove it after 2-3 track days and re-apply, but in places like behind the wheels, you could leave it on for a season.
