Does anyone know which sub bar will work with the 2" seat lowering kit? Just picked up a '16 ACR and trying to figure out how to get harnesses in with a lowered seat. Thanks

I believe that both the bar from Viper Parts USA or TeamTech will both work with a lowered seat. If you use the Teamtech think about not attaching the lap belts to the sub bar as you will have four belts attached to the rear seat mount bolts.

I couldn't mount the sub bar in my car, with the seat lowering kit installed...... Your results may vary. Andy says Morgan managed to get it done at Viper Exchange, but I honestly can't imagine how. I attached the sub belts to the bar on the seat back, self explanatory if you look at it. And the lap belts in the factory locations.
The shoulder harnesses are mounted to the car, the lap belts are mounted to the car. Sure, the sub belts are mounted to the bar on the seat, but the seat would have to get though the lap belts to move. I feel comfortable with what I did.

Do you mean the bar that goes across the seat near the floor at the front of the seat?

Nope. There is a bar near the bottom of the seat at the rear, that goes from one side to the other. It's not terribly thick as far as I can tell, but in the event of a crash, if I were to slide under the lap belts, I'd have to take the whole seat mechanism with me. I don't know if I'd recommend it, but that's what I did.

I had a sub bar with my seat lowering as I'm running techteam belts. Still have it on the passenger side(took out seat lowering on drivers side as it was too low and fixed for me...

Did you install them yourself? I could get the seat out and the lowering kit installed by myself because it still can slide forward with the factory tracks in place. When it came to reinstall, my forearms were too big to even reach the rear studs to try to put the nuts on, so I had a friend with long skinny arms come over to get the rear nuts on. While the seat was in the car, it's obviously too cramped to get a picture, but it seemed to me that the opening in the sub bar to drop the nuts into was the same height as the seat bucket, with no reasonable way to get a socket in there to tighten them down. I'd be curious how it was accomplished, in case my seat ever comes out again, I may give it another try. IIRC I had the seat adjusted up all the way........ at least I thought I did?

Ok just a tip, as I swore and cursed many times when I had to remove the seat lowering kit to go back to the OEM setup. I finally figured it out. It's simple really. Make sure you jack the seat up to its highest position with the lever and then tilt the seat back as forward as possible when you are putting the kit on or off. This will give you just enough access to fit bar and bolts.

Thanks for the tip. It'll help others, as well as myself, as I was relying on help to get the rear nuts in, because I can't physically fit my arms behind the seat with the lowering kit installed.

Worth every penny. I waited till the week of the kits release to pull the trigger on my car. It was make or break for me.
