Does anyone sell the hardcore delete plates for the speakers, radio (I found this at VPA), etc.?

I am guessing arrow made the originals as they looked to be made the same as the close out panel they sell as I removed mine. I installed door speakers in my hardcore, but they are not for sale.

I bet PartsRack has them, or knows how to get them. Now that I think about it, I'm interested as well.

If nobody sells them I'll probably design some and get a few kits made if anyone else is interested. Let's see if JonB or anyone else knows how to get them first.

Competition is good for all of us :D I would be interested in a set.

FYI, the DSE quick release panel is lighter than OEM by 0.5lbs but is aluminum instead of carbon. I'm not sure what the ACR carbon panel weights.
OEM battery cover + torx hardware = 2.060 lbs
DSE battery cover + quick release hardware = 1.516 lbs
DSE battery cover + quick release hardware, wiring / connectors for battery tender = 1.862 (still lighter than OEM)
ACR Hardcore battery cover + torx hardware = ???

I will weigh my CF battery cover and screws when I get a chance. I have it removed as I installed an amp and drilled into an ABS cover I made for the power and ground cable.
I have one of the DSE panels which I will be installing this spring when I get to work on the car, it's a very nice piece and highly recommend them!

Most of the weight that is removed is in the audio equipment and the carpet.. I'm honestly not overly concerned with a 1lb savings on a battery cover. Radio, speakers and carpet on the other hand can add up a little.

Exactly. If I were to make delete plates they would likely be black hard anodized machined aluminum as the small weight savings from carbon fiber would probably not be worth the cost.
