Bonjour guys,
I was wondering if this white thing is the PCV valve??
Also, is it a one piece thing that goes from the rubber grommet under the intake to the hose in the front?? Or I can slide it out of the hoses??
Thanks
Ben

Yes, that is the valve and it can slide right out without taking off the hoses. Looks like you could use a hose replacement though. The hose that runs under the intake is the only time consuming one to replace, but the most overlooked. You have to take off the intake manifold and set it aside to replace the hose. If you do order a new hose, also order a replacement rubber grommet for the hose. This grommet will install into the engine block and then has the hose going into it. Your current grommet will most likely be hard as a rock from all the years and heat.

Thanks,
What are the symptom of a clogged pvc valve??
So it's impossible to remove the grommet/hose without completely removing the intake?? Bummer

Be careful with the old rubber grommet that the PCV valve pushes in to if you don't want to lose it down into the hole. Especially if it breaks up due to getting brittle from age and heat.

Have to say having taken mine apart there is no Valve anywhere!
Under the intake manifold is a black rubber grommet with a hole in the centre, then a hard plastic tube locates into the grommet the other half of the plastic tube sleeves into a rubber pipe which then goes off elsewhere towards the throttle body intakes, there is no actual VALVE!

Maybe someone deleted the valve at some point for another methodology, such as a catch can? Everything else sounds factory correct.

On the Gen II, '97 and '98 have the PCV valve in the parts list and 99 & up don't.

Looks like you have the upper radiator hose double clamped? The OEM ones looks like its about to fall off.
And +1 on that PCV grommet...that thing sucks! Once it's leaking or broken, you usually have to pull the intake and break it out in pieces.

Thanks everyone for your input...I will leave it as it is...and change everything the day I remove the intake, not so soon I hope.
...I did double clamped the upper and lower rad hoses...I was in the process if finishing clamping everything.
