reputation comment what is that

"reputation comment" keeps showing up under the Notifications. When I click on it, it simply goes to my messages.

Can anyone explain what this is? Google isnt helping me

basically a private way to send a quick note. If you look under your location, there is a small STAR, click on it and a box opens to put that quick note. you can add reputation points or subtract them if you didnt like the post the person made
