Just doing my yearly check in to find out what the plan is for Carlisle. Hotel. Events. Etc.

Please let me know! Especially on the hotel. Hate sleeping on my wing even though it looks like it is big and comfy. :smilielol::D

Yuuuuuup. For 2018 anyway! This thread is a little old.

The usual Viper area on the hill is ours again. I got a 20x40 tent, a dozen tables, and a hundred chairs. I'm catering pulled pork, fried chicken, beans, corn souffle, mac & cheese, red potato salad, various non-alcoholic beverages, and cookies for Saturday.

There was no hotel block set up this year due to lack of interest. Barely any of the spots ever get filled, and most people tend to do their own thing.

I'm heading there after work today and going to try and talk my way into camping there tonight and tomorrow night. I didn't choose the camping pass when I booked, so hopefully they'll just let me hang out.

As of July 5th, there were only 20 Vipers and 12 SRT10 Rams registered. I hope more have registered since, because I ordered food for 60 people.

Food is free for VOA members (bring your badges), and non-members are $10.

i just renewed. (long year long story) planning to attend tomorrow. won't have a badge but hopefully you can look me up or i can print out my email that says congratulations. hope to see everyone tomorrow. thanks, Todd

We had about 10 Vipers there today. The show as a whole was the busiest I've ever seen on a Friday. I expect standing room only tomorrow!

I counted 38 cars today. Packed house at lunch. Swexlin! Did you come back? We still had plenty of leftovers!

I was back a couple times, chatting and filling out the ballot. Nice mix of cars! I didn't get any food though, by that time, I had already eaten.
