Got back into the personal watercraft world again. Bought this missile last week. I've already installed a Riva Stage 1 plus kit. Ski run's 82mph on GPS. Any other riders?

That is one seriously fast PWC! What kind of HP do they make stock?

Yamaha quit publishing HP numbers for whatever reason, but somewhere between 250 - 300. It is however the largest displacement motor made in a watercraft (1.8 liter/supercharged). Here is a video with the same setup.

82 is moving! I bought a Seadoo RXT-X 300 a couple weeks ago. This is my first PWC. It's a ton of fun. I think it tops out around 70. The acceleration of these supercharged skis is hilarious. I took my dad out yesterday and we both were laughing the entire time.

I still have my old '04 RXP and GTX. They were the start of the supercharged/intercooled crafts. Both have basic boltons and are about ~240hp. Good enough for about 72mph. Use them a fair amount in the summer with the kids. The new Seadoo RXPX seems nasty! That Yamaha looks cool too. Bet it is a rocket.

Simply hanging on through the acceleration is a workout in itself.

I had various (5) Seadoo's and Kawasaki's between 1994 and 2000--all two strokes. I've decided to get back in at 48 years old, to go the fastest I've ever gone. Go figure.
