If anyone is looking for an orange TA, there is a dodge dealer in Georgetown, TX (near Austin) that is selling for 7k off sticker price.

Also, anyone looking for a white TA there is one at a Dodge dealership in Celina, OH. First white one that I have ran across. Both are on cars.com

7K off? $113,000 seems like a pretty good price for a TA. I saw Mike in Georgia has his at 5k off, but wow.

The one in Celina is at Bud's Chrysler. They are one of our Ohio Viper Club sponsors. Good people.

I agree. If I wasn't waiting on an ACR, I would buy a TA. This price is actually what I think the car is worth.

Many smaller dealerships ordered cars and are having trouble selling them, especially in small towns. If you search around on the internet and then actually go visit the dealer in your Viper, they get down to business pretty quick. They have so many people who ask but can't or won't buy a car like that. We got a great deal and it went seamlessly. No hassle. I just asked them to give me the best price they could. I probably could have beaten them down another thousand but they gotta eat too and these cars are sucking money from their floor plans like nobody's business. We figure it's costing dealers 4 or 5 hundred a month per car.

The TA's are nice, but I am also waiting on an ACR to decide which direction I want to go on the Gen V route.

Despite all the vert talk, the ACR is needed IMO to spur sales. The mags will kill to get their hands on one and pit it against the new Z06.

And it will lose to the Z06 because they will be too scared to drive it.

The 2008-2010 Viper ACR in total sold less then 500 units in total. What makes you think a more expensive ACR is going to sell better? I am willing to bet that the convertible will come before the ACR.

I agree. This time, lets dispense with the crap. Randy was afraid of the ACR, and he was afraid of the T/A. He races an awd Volvo for pete's sake. Lets get any of our SRT drivers in the car, and obliterate the Laguna Record. 0.008 faster then a 4 year old car is not gonna cut it. Let Chevy show up with Johnny hotshoe and the Z06.

Good Point. Only counter point could be that was 4 years ago and, it's time for a new Super Toy!

Now you're talkin. To hell with bargaining on MSRP. Negotiating invoice & dealer cash back amounts is where it's at.

Bitten got a great deal. And these TA's sound like great deals too.

I got 11 k off of sticker. As my husband is in this business I won't break it down. My advice is to show up at a small dealer in a Viper of any gen. Then you have street credit. At the small dealers it's like landing in a space craft. Then ask for the Viper sales guy. He or she is probably also a manager. Talk about how you like the car that you know how many they built and how many have been sold. Hem haw about color, interior, I am not sure and leave. Make sure to ask sales guy about the school he went to and how fun it was.

Then a few days later, do you guys expect any dealer cash on the car? I was thinking of selling my car and getting a new one. There is the hook. Then do NOT give them an amount per month or a discounted amount. Let them tell you what they want to do. No quibbling. No hassle. Do this at more than one dealer and when you get a good offer tell the other dealer what the other is willing to come off. Also don't try to beat them to death. I was offered 13k off a 13 with a 143 k sticker.

You did great! They probably gave you everything they had in the car to move it. Unless the market gets worse that's probably one of the better deals.

Well I overpaid a little but no regrets as I got it seven months ago; so the value was being one of the first couple of hundred people in the world to have it and the other value of paying a small premium was to be able to drive it for a 1/2 year earlier than now. We are getting a foot of snow here in New England today and I'd be torture to get delivery now.

Not good when they are already taking thousands off the sticker.

Seems like plenty are moving - I'd be curious to know why they are knocking so much off - perhaps just want a quick sale?

It's not the big dealers like Woodhouse. It's the small dealers in smaller towns.

Go to the SRT website. It allows you to search dealers and signifies viper dealers. You can type in a location or a city or a dealer. Then you can visit the dealer website and select dodge and then srt for their viper inventory.

Haha the salesman's worst nightmare: consumer resources via the web. They rode that screw the buyer over train for a long long time though. The past ten years have been pay back time and its getting progressively better for the consumer.

With a click of a mouse and some keys you can check BBB ratings of dealerships, research invoice, MSRP, dealer cash back, voluminous amounts of similar listings. You can e-mail various sellers and save their replies for negotiating fuel against the next one. And just about every state nationwide will deliver right to your door step so the days of bring stuck with your local guy are over. In the past five years I've made six figure purchases on vehicles I'd never even seen in person (but did a virtual tour) from the States of Ohio, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Nebraska. It's a brave new world, just gotta make it work for u.
