I am about to buy a car remotly from someone in Sherwood Park, i would like to get it inspected, is my best bet the dealer or is there someone that knows more about vipers around?

On an other note, anyone interested in checking out a car for me? :)

Anyone knows a silver 2009 VOI 10 running around or it's owner?

Does it have chrome rims or it's original black rims?

I'd have a look at it for you, however just recovering from knee surgery and not so mobile. Cars are really bulletproof, only real problems are rear inner e brake pads and oil cooler lines. Matt at Sherwood dodge from what I understand is a experienced viper tech, although I personally never had any dealings with him. His direct number (780) 238-8584

I could possibly go look at it for you if you need me too. I am about 20 min from sherwoodpark. Schedule is slightly busy this week, so I wouldnt be able to get out there till next weekend.

I have used the vipertech at st.albert dodge (I forget his name) a couple of times. It would be a rather expensive tow as it is probably 30 min away from sherwood park.

thanks guys, car has only 27000km and seems like it is mint, i hesitate to have him take the car out to a garage in this bad weather, i figure what can they find that would be a deal breaker other than the engine running REALLY bad... I mean even if they find a burnt light bulb or let say the brakes or tires are done, that is not a deal breaker to me.

It is the first time i do it as a distance like that so kind of scared but owner seems really nice and i have a good communication with him.

What would you guys do?

thanks a lot

Are you meeting up in person to exchange funds? I personally would be hesitant sending 60k-70k (assuming the price considering it being a 2009) to some guy off the internet.

Met mark last year, seems like a knowledgable and reputable person, he enjoyed the car although i haven't seen it in person. Mentioned that he doesn't drive it that much since he had a big 454ss truck build. He follows the same circles i do on local FB race groups.

2 options, fly up and see it yourself. Or flat deck it to a dealership and have them check it out. I had done this on a gen 2 GTS in calgary, was about $500 but found out the car needed a steering rack, so it paid for itself.

How far away are you?

I live in Sherwood Park. If I have some info I could possibly meet the guy and take a quick look for you. Not 100% sure what to look for but I can tell if its in decent condition or not.

might not have been while coming down the trailer, might have been during winter since the car was taken out of storage and sent into the transport right after. It seems to be a very common problem.

Looks familiar ...

Congrats! FWIW you can subtract 33 from the xx/100 (on your console lid) as there was only a total of 77 VOI10's made. I would have kept #22(?) but I couldn't track it as I didn't come close to fitting in it wearing a helmet.
