Looked on PartsRack and see the under drive pulleys but I do not see it specify one for the GenIV. Does anybody know if either of the one's that Jon has listed are the right pulley and belt for the GenIV? Thanks!

No idea but IPSCO has the right one.

Where would one order the IPSCO pulley and belt? To be honest I have a gift card that I won at the New England region Christmas party to PartsRack, figured I could use it on the pulley. That and I have ordered from Jon before and been very happy.

Anyone know what the part # is for the correct belt to use with the underdrive pulley? I've been told you can use the factory belt but since I'm going to be in there and I'd rather not max out my tensioner I mine as well do it at the same time. Thanks in advance!

Make your life easy.

Wrong... No offense to Jon but apparently I caught him on one of his "off days". Jon is who I ordered through and when I asked about the belt he replied with "I'm not a dealer for belts anymore, go to your local auto parts store and get one".

What kind of performance gains are expected from the underdrive pulley?

8-12 whp. Clearly 10 being the average but I have seen multiple people including myself gain 10. I have had them on both of my SRT10 Rams, expecting to see the same on my GenIV. In my eyes it's one of the best bang-for-the-buck mods.

I may have to give it a try. With the limited amount of modifications that you can do to a Gen IV without custom fab work, that might be the last thing on my list to check off.

How hard is the install?

The under drive pulley is very simple... the flywheel , we'll that has to be done when u take down transmission. Dont know your level of mechanical experience, but ifnu have a lift it would be too hard

My mechanical experience is minimal.... But I own/run a dealership. I'm sure I can get a few pointers.

Alright, that'll be my next purchase.

Well if u do those 2 thing it will take about 14lbs off your rotating crank shaft... you will instantly feel the difference in motor revving much faster

You sold me.

Where did you purchase the flywheel from?

IndyRon

Had a similar experience a couple years ago. I don't expect someone to kiss my ass but common courtesy is expected. I'll do without before I purchase from that d'nozzle.

Yes 400 for a aluminum... im talking about chrome moly.. much better material. It's exactly the same flywheel they use in the track on those acr x cars if im not mistaken.

Can you confirm that they are the same for GenIII and GenIV? I actually think I am the one that provided you with the information on the GenIII belts including the one to bypass the AC....

I think I paid $650ish for the Fidanza that is in my current SRT10 Ram.

That's next.

I'm taking it to a track in two weeks for a track day. I'll probably hold off until after that to do the flywheel.

Road course.

My drag street days are over. I use to have several high horsepower Mustangs.

Your car would really benefit from a lighter flywheel in a road course.

If you don't have a Mopar Controller the car will throw codes on startup. Just an FYI, it won't be in limp mode but will have active codes.

I have the MOPAR Racing Performance PCM already installed along with several other mods.

Thank you though!

Got that belt chicagopd had, did not fit on the gen iv! Was about 1-1.5" too short.

However after talking to jtsvp the belt was a gates 685k7. None local to me but that converts over to a Goodyear gatorback 4070685. Fits perfect in my gen iv, tensioner is nice and snug and found a rip in my old belt.

Have you gotten a chance to dyno a before and after installing the Arrow controller?

13COBRA

I don't have any before dynos.

Currently I have the ECM, Gen V intake, American Racing headers, and catless exhaust. Last fall it put down 622/597. Everyone was running a touch high on the dyno, so it was probably closer to 615/590 if I were to guess.

Haha that's funny. I actually gave Tony a call yesterday and was advised the same. Thanks for the heads up on the other belt!
