Jack B pointed this out a bit ago and I soon discovered yesterday - this car collects debris all over the place.

The two sills had pebbles throughout (even a leaf between the sill and the heat shield for me). Two of the bolls in the rear of the sill by the tire were a pain to get out because of the debris that had collected.

I found a piece of trash (what looked like a piece of crushed up tin can) sitting at the bottom of the rear diffuser - I assume it got sucked up into the diff cooler.

The Viper tech that just serviced my car said he pulled some gnarly weeds from my undercarriage. Hitchhikers from my 120 mph sideways trip through the infield at Thunderhill!

Does everyone's car have the 1/4" opening at the front of the sill in the wheelwell. That is where the debris enters and it may have been designed that way so that air enters and cools the sills.

Different topic - when I pulled the sills and put them on a bench I noticed an area that had discoloration under the the clear coat. It was not visible when the sills were on the car. The discoloration starts on the visible sill approx 12" to the rear of the front wheelwell and runs for approx 18" - does anyone else have this issue. You must have it on a bench or you will have to put a light directly on the sill.

This same area also had several horizontal scratches, these also appeared to be under the clear. This is the area directly behind the rear cat. It is also in an area that is protected by the front of the sill, in other words, it is in a slightly recessed area - any one else see this? I am getting ready to clear bra the car and I am debating whether to address this under warranty. It is almost impossible to see when they are on the car.

The heat discoloration has been mentioned a few times now. Those kitties have got to go!

This is not like the heat discoloration that has been mentioned previously. This is an area that is approx 4" X 18" where the paint appears to be cloudy/patchy. If anyone has the car out today, use a bright flashlight and look at the sill from the horizontal. If you look from above you will not see it.
