How often and important is it to change fuel filter

Just getting ready to put belly pan back on ,new exhaust installed, new engine mounts, new 3.55 gears installed, and saw fuel filter , deciding if it should be change when I have easy access to it? If I change it can it be done with a full tank of fuel? Thanks for any input. Cheers spring on its way.

never hurts to do it. its cheap and easy enough

I did mine Last year , if it gets plugged it may decease your fuel pump life . It is also still available from Chrysler !

That's about what I thought. If you are staring at it, may as well. I don't think you'll regret it.
