My 2017 one of one Stryker Purple of course ACR ordered September 28th or so right before they closed the door. Finally started to paint it got photos today. Should only be a couple months at this point if no delays. Not in any hurry weather too crappy to drive it anyway. 22659

Congrats Purple, she is going to look fantastic. Nice build configuration.
We are on a similar time line, I got my first photos of paint work this week too. Seven or eight months is a long time to wait for a car, but like you I am in no particular hurry but also getting pumped now that it has been started.

For being "boring" I sure am excited.:cool:I don't think any Viper, let alone an ACR would be boring. LOL.
Mine is a 17. Went the 1of1 route more for the experience than anything.
May not be the most exciting Viper being built but it's mine and it's exactly what I wanted.
Doesn't hurt that there not another one exactly like it.

Yes I do. I have a folder of nearly 100 build photos. The 1 of 1 process is very cool. I hope if the Viper comes back they treat every owner to the same process. Build to order only. I will share some photos at some point in the future. :)

I didn't mean boring in the true sense of the word :D
I originally wanted the Yorange but after seeing it, I didn't care for it much as I thought it would like the TA 2.0 Orange so, I picked the next best color on my list: Blue.
I love the color and it grows on me more and more. It seems to be a fairly popular color too.
You did the right thing going 1of1 and I wish I had done that but all I wanted was an ACR-E and I got a little confused by the process. I wanted a bare ACR-E, no fancy stuff and I wasn't sure that it would have been what I wanted if I had gone 1of1 (I was wrong of course).
I'm glad that you didn't paint the wing, you'll love the CF look on that thing. That's funny because they always say: CF can have blemishes, but honestly, the wing on my car is flawless.
Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer. Mine got stuck in limbo for about a month but when I got it last August, I was super excited. They unloaded it while I was there but since the dealership had to go over the car, I could only pick it up after the weekend so I just spend the Sat & Sun looking at the pictures I took :smilielol:
Wagnut ACR

I know you didn't, just giving you a hard time.
The 1of1 process wasn't too bad. I can see how it could be confusing though. The dealer I bought it from has sold Vipers before but never a 1of1. Thankfully the sales manager was great at getting the info I needed. Didn't hurt that I built it about 100 times online before going in. One of those things where you can shoot yourself in the foot if you don't pay attention to what boxes get checked.
Sounds like our cars are very similar. I didn't do too much as far as luxury options either. I really could have just ordered an ACR-E but I wanted the experience. Might never have the chance again.
What part of Nor. Cal. You in? I was born and raised in So. Cal. Have some family in Carpinteria.

I live in the SF Bay Area.
Sadly, even though there are a number of Viper owners around, I don't see any. I do regret not going 1of1 because of the concierge thing, that's awesome. Instead, I had to just wait not knowing anything :D
Maybe Dodge will keep this going for cars like the Demon or whatever they make as their halo car.
It's such a unique thing.
You'll love that car, it's such a hoot. I can't wait to take it to the track either. Maybe I'll take it on the 24th at Laguna Seca but it will depend on the weather, if it stays like the recent days, I'll take my Ford :)

Spent a bunch of time in SF for work. Too many people for me. Around 1000 people in the town I live in now. I'm about 15 miles outside of town. More cows around than people.
The concierge has been awesome. Every time I get the email I'm excited to see what's going on. Once my car went into paint they really started sending a lot of pictures.
Really looking forward to getting my Viper. Already told work I'm going to need some time off. Gotta fondle the car:t15197:

Still wondering how our Vipers differ meaning Gerry Woods sold a 2017 GTC ACR Stryker Purple with bright white stripes ACR interior. Both have the Extreme Aero package...That matches mine exactly??? I guess it could have different wheels? I got red seat belts but that blows the theory you cannot get two ACRs GTCs with identical colors and stripes...Am I missing something here? Maybe I'll have the only one of one and there's two! It's worth a million dollars!!! I may contact Gerry Woods there must be something different??? Ideas???
matching exactly includes every option. So it could be something small, like ordering the car cover.

That Gulf coloration looks really cool. I don't know if it's the OCD in me but my only quip about the Gen 5 ACR's aesthetically is how they always look to have the wrong size tires on the front. The sidewall profile is so small on the front and comparatively large in the rear. I wonder if better performance would be had if they made a 295/30 profile Kumho to better match the rears instead of that little 25 profile.

LOL my good friend went to UT and says GO VOLS a lot about my color preference but I'm still waiting for a check from him to get the color he wants.
In TN everything orange must be VOLS related. Any Viper is going to get a lot of attention in the little town I live in.
Off topic Doug, but I'm loving your products. Putting my list together.
I was in your neighborhood not too long ago, got some Squealers BBQ. About the only thing I had time to do, dang work always getting in the way.

I know the feeling about work getting in the way, hope you enjoyed the BBQ and thank you!

Here it is yuck!!! It would not let me do dual stripes just one center one. I would like to see a brighter orange but I think the color wheel is getting worn out! LOL.

I'm getting excited, so I figured I'd hijack Purple Haze's thread with some early pics of my car going through the process. I figure I'm about a month or two from delivery at this point.

Hahaha - I don't think I'll sell this one anytime soon, Scott. I mourned the loss of my last ACR for the past four years, so this one I think I'll keep as long as I keep my old Gen II GTS.
Now, I just need to figure out how to get the new garage built in time for delivery... I live up in the hills above Silicon Valley, and we were cut off from civilization for the last week (landslides, big trees down, creek flooding everything, dams in danger of breaking). So, trying to build anything right now is a no-go because my roads are barely passable with a serious 4WD let alone a Viper.
It will be a fun summer, though - getting a new toy is always exciting. Now, note to self - don't drive this one into an unmovable object.....

Purple is a badass color. A friend had a 6.0 Diablo in viola ophelia...what striking paint color. This shade of the color on the Viper is so sexy.

Ugh, when I think about the maintenance issues with a Lambo, the color better be good. If I can't work on it myself, it's going to sit in the garage (or maybe, somehow, get rolled into the house) just to look at.
