Hey all,

Neighbor came over and was looking at the Viper and said "what's this?" and I went over and saw a crack and piece missing where the upper plastic "horn" on the end of the door meets the top of the door. This piece is number 4 on the diagram below, anyone know where I can pick one up for my 94? Thanks!

larry viper parts is where I would go. Was looking for a headlight and X2 inflate their price to double the list price ($1500) because they are no longer available from mopar. Larry charged me non inflated pricing, and he is simply a great guy . I may also have the part, what side do you need?

The passenger side on my '96 was cracked and (this is probably 5 years ago) I was able to buy a new one. However, the part that was still available was for a Canadian Viper as it didn't have the big hole on the inside where the shoulder belt swivel attaches. It was easy to make that hole in the new part. MAybe an option for the OP?

That part is probably ABS which can be thermo welded. It is a bit more complicated when dealing with older substrates that have UV and oxidation from years of environmental exposure, and where cosmetic finish is also important, but I wouldn't throw the old one away. Broken but repairable parts have value.

Very difficult to come by. My "Inner Stancion" on my 1993 also cracked last spring while on a 8 hour cruise. I found a pair of these, as well as, the "Outer Stancions" for spares. Don't believe the contacts listed above were of any help. Good luck in your quest...

True, I was able to find an entire door but yard was unwilling to sell pieces, they wanted it to go with the door. Forgot who or where though.

My inner stanchion close-outs were cracked when I got the car. At the time, they were still available from Chrysler so I ordered two more sets. One of them soon cracked. Friends at the body shop suggested a fix. I can't recall the exact 3M product, but it came in a double tube like epoxy and needs to be pushed out and mixed in special nozzles. The shop lent me their pneumatic gun for this. It has a 5 minute work time. (I can get the part #, if someone wants it. I think it's a product used to glue on 1/4 panels)

I cut some screen to the shape of the part, and then used the "epoxy" as a coating that holds the screen. It made the close-out panels much stronger and its all unseen once the part is installed.
