How long does it take to find out the results of the oil consumption recall? I am looking to buy a 2014 GTS contingent that it passes the recall

The oil consumption (r29) takes a few hours to complete at the dealer. I think your thinking of r28 which is oil contamination and that typically takes a week or since they need to send it for analysis.

Also keep in mind that GEN Vs have passed the R28 recall and still experienced engine failure. Make sure the factory warranty is valid and the car has no modifications incase you find yourself needing a motor replaced.

According to the dealer, the powertain expires in 2025. It has both the R29 and R29 recall. I went to a Chrysler dealer and they told me it had zero warranty repairs.

Yes r28 cars have 10 year/100k mile warranty on them.

That was a pleasant surprise! Makes me tempted to daily it if all the recalls all come clean.
