Actually just this last summer they came out with their newest version of the Roe Super Charger. They contacted all their customers who has expressed interest (me being one) and they made some more new units but it sounded like the demand wasn't as great as the people who said they wanted one because the price moved up to 7k+ I think. Either way, from the emails I was receiving it sounded like they made a limited production of new units and had a few extra units that were not pre-sold and when they were gone they were gone so who knows if they are gone or not yet.

Put me on the list if a used one pops up! I think my creampuff can only handle a used S/C putting out a few psi, no sense getting a fancy new version :lol2:

I considered removing mine and going Head/Cam. That consideration didn't last long. Gonna keep it.
BTW, I'm not positive, but I think Dave may want to know your price point. Just a hunch...lol

I do have several of them so it never hurts to know what someone is willing to pay.

Dave...I am thinking of going a Roe route to help with the altitude air up here...thinking FI is the best way to battle it. Your thoughts?

Not sure of the relationship between altitude and FI. Ellow over at the alley would be the one to ask. But if you need a H/C package instead I have the last set of JM Stage 3 CNC heads he ever made before he sold the program. New in the box with cam :)

Ha Ha Ha,,,that thread is about a Paxton...LOL. But since Paxtons are such a rare set-up, the OP only want's comments from Paxton experts...again LOL. BUT back on topic. Anything you can do to increase air density regardless of the altitude is a good thing. You can't go wrong with FI. You can go wrong with your approach, but artificial displacement is a good thing. So personally, price points for a used ROE will be from ~$5k to over $7k (sorry Dave). I've seen several sold at that price point privately within the last 30 days (I get PMed a lot on these things). Both were in outstanding condition. Each had deferring bling than the other, but the basic systems were in top condition.

It seems everyone's too busy polishing their cars and posting on what's my car worth threads to want to buy premium parts like I have. But I do have a lot of them.
I'll either use them some day or someone will throw some cash down and I'll go do something else then. Makes no difference to me.

They are only for sale if someone has the money. I could care less if that ever happens. I like admiring them.
How's that for value.

I find admiring stuff is great until it starts taking up too much space, my garage is crammed with stuff and I really should start to think about shifting some of it!
Where the Hell did you store that extra Hood? :)

I inspected the system you bought. Very nice shape. Congrats.
As far as fabricating a next generation system for the GEN-II, I started to go down that path 4-5 years ago. Sean was interested in partnering, but didn't want the capital investment at that time. In reality, the design needs to move away from milling a huge chunk of 6061 (prohibitively expensive...and I have the remnants of my prototype in the garage to prove it) with all too small of manifold volume to a 21st century casting or polymer design. One absolutely MUST exploit the volume avaiable between the cylinder heads for both increasing manifold volume and integrating an intercooler of some sort. This is what I'm doing with my GEN-IV heads on my GEN-II and the Whipple 4.0 blower I have. Manifold casting should be poured in two weeks (been waiting 4 months for the foundary to work it in...ugh). ROE system is nice for what it was designed to be. Major improvements needed in the lower manifold design (and that improvement does not mean making the volume smaller as is currently the plan).

It definitely needs intercooling! All the Mustangs we built over the years always had intercooling or you had to be very careful of heat soak. I would be interested in what you have going especially with intercooling and whipple.
